We’re excited to announce that you can now remotely monitor participants’ blood pressure readings in Fitabase!

Our platform can now pull readings from the Garmin Index Blood Pressure Monitor, offering you a simple way to see participant readings all in one spot, right alongside other data you may be collecting from Garmin wearable devices.

When you log into Fitabase and view a participant’s blood pressure readings, you’ll find them charted individually, exportable on an individual basis, and available in batch exports.

Exports include:

  • timestamps of the readings
  • systolic and diastolic readings
  • pulse readings
  • the readings’ source (device-generated or manually input by the participant)

Data from Fitabase is exported as a .csv file that can then be important into your preferred software for further analysis.

The Garmin Index Blood Pressure Monitor has been validated in clinical trials and is recognized by the FDA as a class II medical device, making it highly reliable for readings taken even in remote settings.
