We’re excited to announce that we’ve added wheelchair metrics to the Fitabase platform for projects using Garmin devices!
You’ll now be able to see the following metrics for participants who have wheelchair mode activated on their Venu 3, Venu 3S, vívoactive 5 or vívoactive 6:
- Pushes: Pushes take the place of steps in the exports and are available only when the participant has their device in wheelchair mode.
- Push distance: You’ll see the distance of pushes logged in meters
- Push goal: If the participant has set a goal for number of pushes in a day, you’ll find it here.
- Average push cadence: You’ll see this data point as average push cadence in pushes per minute throughout an activity.
- Max push cadence: This is the maximum pushes per minute that a participant logs during an activity.
You can access these metrics in our platform within daily summary exports found in the steps section of individual data and in our batch export section under the “Day” column of the Activity row. Reach out to us at hello@fitabase.com if you have questions about this data or if you’d like to explore this data as part of a free two-week trial of our platform!
